Defintiona sudden action taken by a government or people in authority to stop or limit a particular activity.
Example: Following the military coup, there has been a clampdown on press reporting in the capital.
2. colosseum
Defintion: a large building used for sports events, entertainment, exhibitions, etc.
Example: The Hornets attracted an average of 23 000 fans at Charlotte Coliseum.

My opinion about "Is tourism harmful?":
On this issue, I don't think it's an absolute bad thing, because the tourist can the booming tourism industry can stimulate the local economy, create more jobs and bring many benefits. But there are also many disadvantages. 
As mentioned in the article, Romans don't like to see tourists walking around naked, and they don't like to see them playing in fountains. These bad behaviors will cause local people's troubles, so I think proper regulations are needed, but we can't deny that sightseeing is a harmful thing.
